How To Measure Penis Size
If you have any question, please visit our new forum and post your comment
So before you start, let's make sure you are measuring your penis accurately.
This will allow you to know exactly where you're starting from so that you have
something to compare all future measurements against for conclusive evidence of
growth.
First you need to measure your starting lengths, both flaccid and erect. We also
recommend that you keep a logbook of your gains. Remember when measuring be
negative and round down the totals so that when you do see gains you don't think
it's just because you didn't measure correctly! You should only measure once
every month. Constantly measuring every day will lead to inaccurate results and
make it harder to motivate yourself.
Measuring the Flaccid Length (soft)
Flaccid gains in your penis are likely to be some of the first results you
notice from any penis enlargement guide - this one included. However the flaccid
length can be influenced by many environmental factors (such as room
temperature), and as such it is important to maintain a standardized method and
conditions when measuring in order to maintain accurate results.
In order to gain an accurate measurement of your flaccid penis length, stand in
an upright and extend it in front of you, until it is a horizontal position.
Once your penis is horizontal to the floor, place a ruler to the side of your
penis, and pressing back slightly on your pubic bone, take an accurate
measurement in millimeters to the tip of your penis head. Throughout this
procedure it is also important to note that your penis should be fully erect,
and should be held by one hand throughout the measurement just below the head.

Measuring the Erect Length (hard)
The erect length is what most members
are interested in. To measure the length of your fully erect penis accurately,
it is once again best to measure from the side of the penis, with the ruler
facing up at you. While standing, lock your knees and hold your penis with one
hand just behind the head. Gently angle your erect penis until it is parallel to
the floor.
With your other hand, hold the ruler next to your penis, pressed against your
pubic bone (just above the base of the penis). Make sure the ruler and penis are
parallel with one another.
Gently pull your penis out as far as you can and measure to the tip of the head.
Record your measurement to the nearest 1/16th of an inch or nearest millimeter.
Note: To get the most precise measurements, try moving your pelvis or changing
the angle to see what variations can occur during this type of measurement. Once
you've figured out how to measure to get the same result as your erect length,
you will find that this measurement is easier and more convenient than measuring
your actual erection.

Incorrect Method |
Measuring the Flaccid Girth
The girth can be extremely awkward to measure
because many people have different size girth measurements depending on which
part of the penis that you measure. The standardized way is to measure in the
centre of the penis shaft. When flaccid hold your penis out in front of you and
wrap a tape measure around your penis. Do not pull the tape measure too hard,
pull it to a reasonable level and remember this LEVEL of pull for the next time
you measure.

Measuring the Erect Girth
Make sure your penis is 100% erect and then proceed with the measuring. Hold
your penis out in front of you so it is parallel with the floor. With your other
hand place the tape measure around the penis making sure not to pull too tight.
The average erect girth is 5" - 5.5" according to recent surveys conducted.
